Graphs software, often known as graphics software or graphing software, is a combination of several different types of digital graphs. - Pie Charts: Pie charts are one of the most elementary graphs, which most people have used since childhood. Pie charts show the split between different people, time periods or processes.

Today's graphs software takes advantage of different dimensional outputs. Depending on the software package the chances are they'll give you the choice between 2- Dimensional and 3- Dimensional graphs. The difference is known as static versus animation. Static charts are the 2D charts that are basic and 'old fashioned' to many people. They are preferred by many people because there isn't any distracting motion or fluff. Animated charts are the opposite of static graphs because they take full advantage of 3D, moving graphs. 3D graphs are more modern because they can better show how a process works by moving the points and pieces automatically. Most software packages available today will give you the option of choosing either.

The new trend among businesses and software related industries is to put these digitally mastered graphs on the web for clients and the public to view. It is not hard to put a graphical representation of your numeric data on the web and placing them on your website is pretty straightforward. A business would choose to put their graphs online to give the public a better idea of maybe their sales some other piece of information that is deemed public knowledge.
