The Best Graphing Software
|
Graphing software is a business oriented set of software programs that enhance the performance and efficiency of a business. In today's highly technological world a business that doesn't utilize the digital options available to them is far behind the competition. While there are all kinds of business applications that are on the market at the convenience of project managers, graphing software is among the most popular because it takes a lot of the number crunching out of the way you do business. For instance, instead of plotting points and figuring out the gradient by hand you can simply plug in the numbers and watch as the software determines the chart. Just like anything in business there is competition among the software companies so here's a brief overview of the top graphing software out there today: 1. Omnigraph: Omnigraph is known as one of the best applications on the market because it is simple, action oriented and it integrates with nearly any other system you currently have on your computer. Omnigraph typically works with Windows although there are a few newer versions that work specifically with Mac computers. Omnigraph is known for its high level math capabilities (calculus and above) and its immediate graph loading. Some graphing software requires time to turn the numbers into a static graph but not Omnigraph; the graph appears almost instantly after you have applied the numbers. 2. Autograph: The Autograph system has always leaned a little more toward the geometry side of math so it makes it ideal for builders and architects. It is possible to make some pretty dynamic shapes and line coordinates using the program and while it isn't the most complex system to use, it does take a little time to get used to the different set-up involved. 3. Aepryus: Aepryus is a more futuristic look into the graphing software industry because they do a lot of three-dimensional graphing. While static 2D graphs are available in most formats, the 3D graphs are what draw most people to the software. Aepryus uses special spherical coordinates in order to plot points, which is another distinction between it and the other software programs like it. 4. Advanced Grapher: The Advanced Grapher program is an older graphic software program that is still used in many aspects by business owners today. It is solely a 2D graphing system, although it makes great use out of several graphical interfaces. Who uses graphing software? There are several industries that use graphing software almost exclusively in their offices, from architects to constructors/ designers to builders. Any type of work that needs a graphical or visual display can get great benefits out of this type of software. However, now that these software programs are integrating with other Windows applications (mainly Microsoft Excel) businesses of all sizes are getting in on it. The reason for this is graphing software can cut a lot of the time out of projects and number based presentations and when a business is all about efficiency they turn to software. |
