Computer Drawing Software

Computer drawing software is one of the new 'trends' among business and art related industries. This software is completely intuitive and it allows the user to be in control over an entire planning process, no matter what it is. What exactly is computer drawing software? The software is obviously computer based and it is a simplified way for anyone to make drawings before actually creating something. Picture a much more complex version of the paint program that is often found on computer hard drives. However, computer drawing software isn't too complicated for the everyday user because it allows nearly anyone to create accurate drawings, no matter what their design background is or their computer knowledge.

There are two main types of computer drawings software programs, paint based and drawing based. Let's take a closer look:

Paint based software is more familiar to the common person because of the usage of the paint program on most PCs and Macs. Paint based computer drawing software uses a lot of similar characteristics, from paintbrushes to color palettes (although they usually have a much larger range of colors). Paint software lets you get right in the middle of the project, zooming in and out so that you can better recognize the dot-to-dot ratios that exist. Paint software is great for a project that needs a significant amount of color and that isn't too precise in terms of measurements and such.

Drawing based computer software may be a little tougher for a non-design mind to wrap around because it can be a little more complex. The way these programs work are by building graphics out of lines and shapes. It is easy to measure out exact specifications/ measurements, so an architect leans more toward this software opposed to the paint programs. While you can create quite the color base and fillers with most drawing software they are more useful for creating shapes and graphics, all the way down to how thick the individual lines are in an illustration. Some of the more popular drawing software programs are: Adobe Illustrator, Aldus Free Hand and Corel Draw.

Who uses computer drawing software? The industries that benefit the most from this software are building/ construction, home and garden and architectural. Architects most frequently use this type of software so that they can depict more accurate displays on a computer before even beginning the model building process.

Most people enlist the help of computer drawing software because they can't draw freehand. Builders today have no need for a real artists touch. Most of the work that was done in the past within building and architectural was done by hand. If a sketch needed to be drawn the builder needed at least a little bit of artistic ability. Not anymore. Computer drawing software has helped those involved in business related drawing create professional sketches, with or without the ability to do it free hand.

Computer drawing software has made more builders operate more flexibly, and their drawings can be created off the cuff.
