How To Choose Charts Software
|
The computer and digital world have made a significant impact on the world of design, art and even business. There aren't too many industries that are untouched by the digital software programs that are available to make business run more smoothly and efficiently. One of the more popular forms of digital software includes something known as charts software. Charts software is a genre of software programs out there that utilize digital, visuals for better analysis. In the past a business may have had to do a little guesswork in terms of figuring out what worked and what flopped. Not anymore. Charts software comes in many different formats and varieties. Let's take a closer look: One of the most useful forms of charts software that offers several solutions to analysis issues is the flash chart. The flash chart is an animated chart system that creates movie type charts with the Adobe Flash (Macromedia) program. These charts are incredibly customizable and even easier to analysis. There are several types of flash charts: - Area charts - Bar charts - Doughnut charts - Scatter charts - Pie charts - Line charts - ECT. When dealing with any of the above types of flash charts there are two choices to pick from: Static or animated. A static chart is more 'old fashioned' if you will because they are only image formatted (meaning that they are unmoving and static). The more popular of the two is the animated chart because they are formatted in flash (using Adobe Macromedia) and they use effects to make them more attractive. Why is the animated chart so popular? They are so sought after because they are easier to understand. Instead of simply staring at a set of numbers depicted on a normal chart it is easier to understand a chart that shows not tells you the information. Animated charts grow, fall, rotate, swing and appear on the screen as to show rising and/ or falling numbers. For instance, if a business wants to compare their revenue over the past few months, as set in a weekly format they can use an animated chart to show it more effectively. The lines on the chart will actually move around to the pre-set numbers for weekly revenue. Why else do businesses use animated charts? They are easy to set up, they can adjust from static to animated with just a click, the can be published to the web for customer satisfaction, and you can import data from a Microsoft Excel sheet into the chart (many businesses keep their pertinent data on spreadsheets). Before charts software was developed to the level it currently is at business owners had to rely on either lesser computer programs (some used Microsoft Word charts) or by free hand drawings. With the chart software that is out on the market today a business has a much better shot at depicting exactly what they want in the format that is most easily understood. |
